So last week I talked about a great value red for your holiday parties.  Today I am coming at you with the perfect white for your party as well.  Finding good cheap white wine for a party is easier than good cheap red wine, but you still want to try and find the best you can.  If you chill most white wine cold enough, it can all taste good, but it is nice to find a white that is cheap and still tastes good when it is not ice cold.

Although many white wines are seemed to be loved or hated by people, I still feel you should keep things simple at a party and only offer one type of red and one type of white.  If you try and please everyone, you will end up spending more than you need to.  If you are offering free drinks, people shouldn't be picky!

I have said this before and I will say it again, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc offers so many amazing value wines.  I have written about others before and have a new one today.  I know that many people do not like this style of wine, but I feel that more people are willing to drink Sauvignon Blanc than Chardonnay.  Last night we opened a new one that I was very impressed with.  The 2021 Grove Mill Sauvignon Blanc is another amazing value from the Marlborough region.  This wine comes in at only $13.99 and got a 95-point rating from Decanter!

"Very attractive, clean lifted generous nose displaying scents of fresh cut grass, asparagus, gooseberry and peaches. Slightly sweet, with a vibrant harmonious acidity." -Decanter

This will be the perfect white wine for any large party and not cost an arm and a leg.  Plus, since it is a screwcap, it makes it super easy at a party because you do not have to bother with a wine opener!
