Grapes for this Malbec are grown in the Andes Mountains of Argentina, then chilled and transported by ocean voyage to Caymus, where we use our winemaking techniques to create a style that is dense, dark and supple. Falling outside standard labeling rules, Red Schooner does not include a vintage date but is known by the voyage from which it traveled (Voyage 9 is the 2019 vintage). Strikingly smooth, with scents and flavors of dark fruit and fine, textural tannins.

A vibrant cherry red, the Red Schooner by Caymus opens with a warm, alluring nose. Aromas of ripe plums mix with the rustic scents of the high desert - scrub brush, wild sage, saddle leather, the smokiness of a campfire, and a hint of pomace. The palate is silky and smooth, with lush plums and grippy tannins that touch the side of the tongue. An earthy character of leather and cooking over an open fire carries through to the long finish, whose fruit tapers off and yields to toasted wood.
Adult signature will be required at time of delivery. $50 minimum order. We cannot ship to PO Boxes.

You can search for the nearest FedEx location (no drop boxes) by clicking here and use that as your shipping address. Most Walgreens locations will now hold wine orders for you (state of LA excluded). They will come up in the search results at www.fedex.com/locate if that service is available to you.

It is ideal for the package to be received on the first delivery attempt especially when the weather is warm or extremely cold.
All alcoholic beverages purchased from this site are sold in the state of Florida and title passes to the buyer in Florida. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcoholic beverage products. Return Policy:
Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
