96 Points Tasting Panel
The palate of this rich and luxurious wine is sparked by jasmine and sea salt. From an elevation of 2,200 feet, it showcases limestone soil through a line of flint that runs through its core. Lemon verbena and a billowy mouthfeel keep the exquisite parade marching.

Calera’s Mt. Harlan Vineyards are located in the Gavilan Mountains 25 miles east of the Monterey Bay. The site was chosen for its limestone soils and ideal climate. At an average elevation of 2,200 feet it is among the highest and coolest vineyard sites in California.
Cooperage: 100% French oak, 30% new, 10% second vintage, 60% neutral, 100% malolactic fermentation
A wet winter, with more than double our average annual rainfall, made for very happy vineyards. While budbreak arrived slightly later than usual, warm spring weather led to excellent fruit sets at our Mt. Harlan vineyards, with above-average yields for both Pinot Noir and our white varieties. Thanks to the abundant early season rains, and Mt. Harlan’s high elevation and marine-influenced climate, our estate vineyards weathered a significant Labor Day heat event wonderfully, producing complex and elegant wines, with beautifully balanced acids and sugars.

We now ship FedEx to all states we ship to with the exception of PA, DE and KY (UPS). To the state of TX we use a small carrier called LSO but shut down shipments there during the summer months.
If you specify we can ship to a FedEx location to be held for pickup at no additional charge. You can search for the nearest FedEx location (no drop boxes) by clicking here and use that as your shipping address. Most Walgreens locations will now hold wine orders for you (state of LA excluded). They will come up in the search results at www.fedex.com/locate if that service is available to you.

Return Policy:
Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
