Biodynamic wine is the product of winemaking with the lowest intervention possible. That means no chemicals, no pesticides, and no additives.  They also follow a planting calendar that depends upon astrological configurations.  Biodynamic wine is the result of farming that encourages balanced and resilient land that is at its best without manipulation.

There are different levels of certification for Biodynamic wines.  Demeter is the strictest level of certification with 100% Biodynamic practices from soil to bottle.  Many producers use "grapes made biodynamically" which allows for some intervention if needed in the wine making process.
