93 Points Tasting Panel
Texturally unique with its generous dollop of caramel cream on graham cracker yet enough acidity to lighten and brighten. Tangerine and apricot flavors come in rich and lengthy, broadening the reach of this fine white.
Gust is the second-generation offshoot of Sonoma’s Cline Family Cellars. The brainchild of Megan Cline and Hilary Cline, the project was launched to tap the potential of California’s most exciting new wine appellation: the Petaluma Gap, recently recognized as superb for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah.
A portion of the grapes were crushed with their stems directly to press. This allows clean juice to run through the press whilst the crushing means that more solids are picked up and a more viscous, robust texture to the wine is added. The rest of the grapes were directly transferred to press as whole-cluster bunches. This gives a lighter, more elegant texture and preserves some of the fresher fruit characteristics and highlights the white floral aromatics we were looking for. The balance between these two techniques creates a wine with notes of brioche, lemon, and gardenias, lightning-like acidity, and a non-stop finish.

We now ship FedEx to all states we ship to with the exception of PA, DE and KY (UPS). To the state of TX we use a small carrier called LSO but shut down shipments there during the summer months.
If you specify we can ship to a FedEx location to be held for pickup at no additional charge. You can search for the nearest FedEx location (no drop boxes) by clicking here and use that as your shipping address. Most Walgreens locations will now hold wine orders for you (state of LA excluded). They will come up in the search results at www.fedex.com/locate if that service is available to you.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
