Pierre Labet Bourgogne Pinot Noir VV 2015 - 750ml
Vieilles Vignes = Old Vines
The Labet family has lived in Beaune for 300 years and has been making wine under their label since the 1980s!
The Pinot Noir is sourced from Chorey-Les-Beaune with vines planted at 200 meters above sea level, in soils that are a mixture of red marls and surface alluvia. This is a bright, uncomplicated, well-built wine offering that is full of character. After 15 months, the wine is racked and returned to vats for three months, then bottles without filtration.
Pierre's Tasting Notes
Focused aromas of deep red fruit with earthy notes.Ta s te:A fresh, bright and ripe nose combines a variety of plum and dark berry aromas but in particular cherry, with those of earth and lavender. There is a lovely sense of energy to the well-detailed, punchy and delicious flavors that display really lovely persistence on the solidly complex and well-balanced finish.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
