Arcadian Clos Pepe Pinot Noir 2012 - 750ml
Harvest began on September 20 th with a larger than normal crop load of exceptionally high quality fruit from our .6 acre of Pommard from the slope. And followed by the clone 115 on September 28 th from our .6 acre on the west side collectively bringing in 4 .3 tons total. Sugars measured 22.5 brix and acids were slightly lower than I prefer at 6 grams so juice was adjusted to 8 grams total per liter. The fruit is hand sorted both in the vineyard and at the triage table in the winery and cold settled to 6 degrees centigrade for 72 hours. Inoculation with both RC212 and Assmenhausen strains in separate open tops were utilized. A fourteen day cuvaison followed prior to pressing to all used barrels. Secondary fermentation lasted 120 days and total elevage was forty eight months. Finished wine was bottled without fining or filtration.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
