Arrowood Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 - 750ml

$ 35.00

92 Points Wine Advocate

"Very deep garnet-purple in color, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 4% Malbec, is scented of red currants, blackberries and wild blueberries with touches of olives and underbrush. Medium-bodied, tightly wound and packed with tense red and black fruits, it has a fine-grained texture and savory finish."
90 Points Wine Enthusiast
"Made from two vineyards in the appellation, this shows black cherry, cedar and tobacco, with a graphite element not far behind. Sticky tannins provide grip and weight, as full-bodied richly ripe blue fruit and plum form a continuum between hits of clove."

ARROWOOD

Our home vineyard and tasting room are located in the historic Sonoma Valley, a swath of land tucked between the Mayacamas and Sonoma Mountain ranges. While we source wines throughout Sonoma County, we have found three specific AVAs where Cabernet Sauvignon takes on its most powerful terroir-driven expressions: Sonoma, Knights and Alexander Valleys. By sourcing fruit from these three legendary locations, Arrowood wines showcase Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon at its very best.

KNIGHTS VALLEY is one of the most remote AVAs in Sonoma County, bordering Napa Valley to the east and Alexander Valley to the northwest. Protected by ocean influences, this region experiences a moderate climate, offering a longer and later growing season that develops more dark fruit aromatics. Very fine textured soils allow for great drainage even at lower elevations, producing small berries that deliver powerful tannins and densely structured wines.

The 2014 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is bold with black forest fruit and fresh plum, offering undertones of cherry fruit leather and crushed rock. Cocoa powder and spice come through on the palate accompanied by broad tannins and a rich and persistent finish.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
