Auros Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016 - 750ml
"Aged 18 months in French oak, this wine was made with fruit (including some Petit Verdot and Malbec) sourced from three of Napa Valley’s sub-appellations: Oak Knoll, Oakville, and the Stags Leap District, with 15 different soil types among them. Aromas of fresh blackberry and plum combine with a hint of mocha on the inspired nose as grainy tannins, a rich mouthfeel, and balanced fruit and acid make this red work to its optimal ability. Leather and fennel come in for a savory finish."
Deeply concentrated cassis, blackberry and dried blueberry aromas, underscored by notes of violet and graphite. A decadent palate of black currant jam, roasted coffee, tobacco, dried fig and vanilla bean. Full-bodied with supple tannins.
IN THE VINEYARD
Auros is a nuanced integration of four coveted Napa Valley sub-appellations: Rutherford, Oakville, Stag’s Leap and Oak Knoll. More than 15 different soil types converge here—from the Pacific Ocean, the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Napa River—to create multi-dimensional characteristics in our wine.
IN THE CELLAR
We meticulously pick and sort our fruit by hand, cold-soaking the grapes to extract brilliant color from the skins. Following a warm fermentation, the wine is aged in fine French oak barrels for 18 months, giving this Cabernet its rich, round texture.
Auros' Tasting Notes
This deeply concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon opens with dark fruit aromas of cassis, blackberry, and dried blueberry, underscored by notes of violet and graphite. The rich, full-bodied palate unveils opulent layers of blackcurrant jam, roasted coffee, tobacco, dried fig, and vanilla bean. Soft, supple tannins frame a plush, velvety finish.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
