Chapel Down Three Graces England 2011 - 750ml
95 Points Wine Enthusiast - #26 Top 100 2017
A restrained but impressive notion of honeyed oatmeal on the nose makes for a promising opening. A crisp green-apple note plays alongside ripe lemon. The palate shows fine, elegant mousse, amplifying those restrained aromas of honey, oatmeal and biscuit. This wine is at a perfect juncture of freshness and evolution, with wonderfully developed autolytic notes and great balance. The finish is long and moreish.
Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Kent, Sussex and Essex. Grapes are grown onchalk and clay soils.
Cool fermentation in stainless steel followed by full malolactic fermentatio. A portion of this wine is from reserve stocks which has been stored in barrel and tank which adds complexity and depth to the palate. Maturation on fine lees in tank for six months before bottling and a minimum of three years in bottle.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
