"Still very young, this holds great potential. Rich, full-bodied and densely structured, it is a wine first, sparkling second. Ripe apple and peach flavors partner with a strongly mineral texture." - Cellar Selection

93 Points James Suckling

"This has terrific composure, among the fresher and better-presented of the vintage in terms of aromas. It's toasty with grilled hazelnuts, chalky and flinty. Aromas are in the pithy grapefruit and dried peach spectrum, with lemon too. The palate's seamless, powerful and quite deeply flavored. It climbs high and wide, then focuses neatly through the finish as acidity chimes in as well as some cherry flavor that steadies and balances. Great drinking now."

In line with Champagne tradition, the Charles Heidsieck House owns and cultivates some sixty hectares, divided between the Marne and Aube departments. Long-term contracts with winegrowers and cooperatives in Champagne complete its requirements for supplies. A responsibility for the House, which is in charge of making the best of the grapes harvested. Pride for the winegrower who participates in producing a wine appreciated on the very best tables throughout the world.

A constant focus on conserving the lands and practices that protect the ecosystem has led to recognition of the House vineyards for its sustainable viticulture. It has also been certified as of certified as to be of High Environmental Value.

Winemaker's Notes

The deep golden robe presents a delicate, lively effervescence. A voluptuous impression. Warm and autumn-like, the nose offers fragrances of candied chestnuts and honey with surprising notes of praline and lightly toasted hazelnuts. The incredible balance offers the firmness expected of a great champagne as well as the opulence of autumn with generous flavours of roasted apricots, dates and figs which delicately coat the palate.
