Chateau Lassegue Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2016 - 750ml
The village of Saint-Émilion is located on the right bank of the river Dordogne, next to the town of Libourne, in the Bordeaux viticultural region. It is said that the tradition of winemaking in Saint-Émilion goes back to Roman occupation of the area. In the 4th century, the Latin poet Ausone lived in a villa on the present site of the Grand Cru with the same name. The village takes its name from a monk from Brittany named Émilian who, in the 8th century took refuge in a cave in the area. Since 1999, the medieval village of Saint-Émilion and its surrounding vineyards are a Unesco World Cultural Heritage site.
Nestled on the Côte de Saint-Émilion, Château Lassègue exemplifies winemaking passion and an unbridled quest to create world-class wines. With its striking 18th Century château, perennially sun-drenched vineyards and diverse soils, Château Lassègue sits in a unique position of honoring its heritage while also moving to a new era of winemaking traditions.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
