Domaine du Gros Nore Bandol Rouge 2014 - 750ml

$ 40.00

"Full-flavored and full-throttle, loaded with warmth, joviality, and down-home familiarity, this juicy Bandol is like a big Provençal bear hug from Alain himself. You won’t find a more honest wine. The inky purple juice staining your tongue as you wash down a garlicky morsel of rosemary-studded lamb tastes not unlike it did shortly after the grapes were crushed and racked into Alain’s large oak casks. Gros ’Noré Bandol truly is the definition of Provence in a bottle. Serve it slightly chilled in the warm months to bring out its best." Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant

92 Points Wine & Spirits

"Alain Pascal used to sell his fruit to Domaines Ott and Pibarnon. Now, his wines rank alongside those, with their own distinct character. Working with 40 acres of vines in the clay soils of La Cadière d’Azur, his wines are spicy and earthy, with a chewy density to them. The 2014 is especially vibrant, filled with a floral pink-peppercorn spice and wild-strawberry brightness at its core. Decant for a crown roast of pork."

Return Policy:

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
