Domaine l'Ecu 'Taurus' Muscadet 2015 - 750ml
Avant-garde, the Domaine de l'Ecu has been certified in Organic Agriculture since 1975 and in Biodynamics since 1998 (Demeter) on all its 24 hectares. We are also certified Biodyvin since 2014.
We have renounced all technological artifice in the cellar to break with the movement of wine standardization and preserve the link uniting each of our vintages to a terroir and a vintage.
Our wines are without added So2 or sulphites... we are proud to be part of the "Renaissance des Appellations" and "Biodyvin" groups of biodynamic winegrowers, both of whom advocate respect for the terroir and the search for pure wine, without make-up or deception!
No need either to look for our wines in supermarkets or in large chain-stores, we refuse to use these distribution channels dedicated to mass market wines, contrary to our working philosophy... You will find our wines only in passionate wine shops!
Biodynamically farmed, demeter certified since 1998. All hand-harvested.AGING
Aged total of 24 months: 12 months on the fine lees in underground concrete tanks, then 12 months on the fine lees in four year old burgundy barrels. No fining or filtration.
Elegant nose with pronounced mineral notes, notes of citrus fruit, lemon and grapefruit, delicate notes of white flowers, dried fruit, almond, toasted notes. Fat, opulent palate, counterbalanced by a fine acidity, a liveliness that carries the balance of this wine. Elancé, complex, powerful, the mouth blends notes of orchard fruits, pear, apricot, rhubarb and liquorice. A wine with great length, with a finish of white pepper.
Adult signature will be required at time of delivery.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
