Hartford Court Chardonnay Far Coast 2016 - 750ml

$ 70.00

98 Points Jeb Dunnuck

"Always one of my favorites, the 2016 Chardonnay Far Coast Vineyard is another classic beauty from this estate. Caramelized lemon and orchard fruits, beautiful minerality, notes of white flowers, spice, and some salty marine notes all dominate the nose. Medium to full-bodied, it offers beautiful tension and elegance, bright acidity, and a great finish. This rich, powerful, structured Chardonnay will be better with a year or two of bottle age and should evolve for over a decade."

VINTAGE & VINEYARD CHARACTER

"Our Far Coast Vineyard is a cool site surrounded by redwood forests, almost two hours north of the Russian River on a Sonoma Coast mountain ridge. It is an area that some call the ‘True Sonoma Coast’. Others would simply describe the distant vineyard site as ‘the middle of nowhere’. Far Coast Vineyard sits just south of the town of Annapolis at 600-1000 feet above sea level. The Goldridge soils at this ridge-top site are well drained and contribute to the sense of minerality and focus in this rare single vineyard Pinot Noir.

TASTING NOTES Far Coast Vineyard consistently produces one of our boldest Pinot Noir offerings. The 2016 follows suit with intense cherry cola, blackberry..."

and cocoa aromas. The subtle earth and underbrush characters carry into the flavors along with Asian spice and a
broad, lush texture followed by black cherry and blackberry fruits. The persistent finish is distinctly Far Coast.

Our shipping operation is still shipping as normal but with slight delays in some cases due to increased volume. Only our physical store is closed. We have a separate warehouse where we send out packages.

Adult signature will be required at time of delivery.

$50 minimum order.

If you're looking to send a gift to someone we suggest only doing so to a business address. If you're not sure that someone will be available to sign for the wine, you don't want to inconvenience your recipient. A note can be left under special 'special instructions' on shopping cart page. No pricing or other info is included with order.

By placing an order through our website you are affirming that you are at least 21 years of age and that someone 21 and over will sign for the package.

We now ship FedEx to all states we ship to with the exception of PA (UPS).

If you specify we can ship to a FedEx location to be held for pickup at no additional charge. You can search for the nearest FedEx location (no drop boxes) by clicking here and use that as your shipping address. Most Walgreens locations will now hold wine orders for you (state of LA excluded). They will come up in the search results at www.fedex.com/locate/ if that service is available to you.

General Shipping Policies:

It is ideal for the package to be received on the first delivery attempt especially when the weather is warm or extremely cold. We cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Return Policy:

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
