Henriot Brut Souverain Champagne NV - 750ml
91 Points Wine Enthusiast - Editor's Choice
Bright white fruits and a fine balance between richness and crisp acidity are the hallmarks of the nonvintage Champagne from this producer. Perfumed and with delicious apple and peach fruits, the bottling is ready to drink.
Founded in Reims in 1808, Champagne Henriot is one of the few remaining family-owned houses with over two hundred years of independence. Over the years, the house has cultivated an audacious approach and a distinctive, luminous style of its own, guided by the pursuit of the purest expression of Chardonnay.
The Henriot family’s strong relationship with Cellar Master Laurent Fresnet and partner growers is essential in creating each Henriot cuvée and maintaining its uncompromising quality standards. With the use of an exceptionally high proportion of reserve wines, as well as predominantly Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, Champagne Henriot produces a distinguishable freshness and quality in each cuvée.
Today, the Henriot family’s expertise is backed not only by their storied history in Champagne but also in their celebrated triumphs in both Burgundy and Chablis with Bouchard Père & Fils, William Fèvre and Chateau de Poncié.
More than 25 cru wines from the finest Champagne terroirs in Cotes des Blancs and Montagne de Reims make up the blend, together with 30% of precious reserve wines.
Each bottle is then left to rest for more than 3 years in the cool, calm surrounds of our cellars in Reims. The Brut Souverain blend also contains a small quantity of our prestige Cuve 38 Champagne. This wine, made in the style of a perpetual reserve crafted exclusively from Grand Cru chardonnay, is unique to the Champagne House and expresses its quintessential savoir-faire and originality.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
