Left Coast White Pinot Noir 2019 - 750ml
91 Points Wine Enthusiast
If you’ve not yet tried a white Pinot from Oregon, here’s a great opportunity. A distinctive style is emerging, positioned halfway between Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. Some are styled more like a rosé; others, like this one, lean more toward white wine flavors. Here the soft entry is lightly buttery, with pretty fruit flavors of white peach and melon. There’s suggestion of some barrel time in the scents of toasted cashews. The blend includes 6% Pinot Meunier and 3% Pinot Blanc.
Family owned and operated Left Coast Estate has been built and guided by two essential principles: a passion for winemaking and a deep connection to the land where we live and farm. Founded in 2003, they have completed the initial phase of the winery just in time for the inaugural 2004 vintage of the label bearing a Lewis and Clark map, illustrating their special place in the world. They are in the middle of the Willamette Valley, just 37 miles from the Pacific Ocean with the immense, cooling benefit of the Van Duzer Corridor running through the property.
Left Coast Tasting Notes
The wine itself is enticingly fruit forward with distinct aromas of white cherry, nectarine, peach, citrus, and beeswax. Its rich mid-palate is beautifully framed and focused with flavors of spiced pear, ripe honeydew, wet stone, and a mineral finish.
Adult signature will be required at time of delivery.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
