Peay Pomarium Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2018 - 750ml
96 Points Vinous
"The 2018 Pinot Noir Estate Pomarium is the most inward of the Peay 2018 Pinots. There is good depth and density but the 2018 is decidedly inward looking today. A wine of power and drive, the Pomarium needs time to unwind, that's pretty clear. At the same time, the potential is evident. Time in the glass brings out scents of rose petal, lavender, mint, sage and spice, along with gorgeous red/purplish berry fruit. Drinking window: 2023 - 2033"
Peay's Tasting Notes
As you would expect, the profile hews more to the darker fruit expression including plums and blackberry. There is depth of flavor across the mid palate—what I call density—but it is not fat or fleshy. A few anise and bark notes peek out in the finish along with some floral notes from a touch of whole cluster.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
