Pietracupa Fiano di Avellino 2015
The Wine: Fiano di Avellino is exclusively made of 100% Fiano grapes handpicked between the end of September and the beginning of October. After the soft pressing of the grapes, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then rests for about 6 months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled. It is released on the market after about 3-6 months.
Tasting Notes: Fiano di Avellino has a straw yellow color. On the palate it has notes of honey and hazelnuts that gain intensity with aging. On the nose it has aromas of apple and pear. This wonderful wine pairs well with appetizers, seafood platters, fish soup as well as grilled white meats.
