91 Points James Suckling
Stewed-blackberry, dark-chocolate, roasted-coffee and green bell-pepper aromas. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, powdery tannins. Concentrated and creamy with fresh-herb notes on the finish.
The grapes for this wine come from the Colchagua Valley, specifically form the Los Lingues sector. The plots of the vineyard that give life to this wine are located at the feet of the Andes Mountains, in a place of warm days and fresh nights that allows producing a good expression of the variety’s typicity in this valley.
The grapes were picked by hand on April 27 and then taken to the winery to be destemmed, manually berry selected and placed in open-top wood tanks for a cold maceration of 7 days. The alcoholic fermentation took place between 25 and 26ºC during 8 to 12 days, using soft extractions. After that, the wine experienced a post fermentative maceration of about two weeks, depending on each batch and the daily tastings of the wines. After finishing maceration, the wine was racked directly into French oak barrels and untoasted foudres where it underwent malolactic fermentation and, according to each lot, was aged for about 16 months.

We now ship FedEx to all states we ship to with the exception of PA, DE and KY (UPS). To the state of TX we use a small carrier called LSO but shut down shipments there during the summer months.
If you specify we can ship to a FedEx location to be held for pickup at no additional charge. You can search for the nearest FedEx location (no drop boxes) by clicking here and use that as your shipping address. Most Walgreens locations will now hold wine orders for you (state of LA excluded). They will come up in the search results at www.fedex.com/locate if that service is available to you.

Shipping wine around the country is very expensive. We charge about a third less than what it actually costs us. If you need to return your order (or if the wine gets returned back to us because you were unable to receive it after 3 attempts and you didn't email us to make other arrangements), we need to collect a return shipping fee that is up to double the amount of the shipping you paid. Upon receiving the wine back we will refund for the wine minus the initial shipping cost. In the event that we make a mistake we work with you to fix whatever went wrong at no additional cost to you.
